PSA a Day
I've written more pro bono PSA campaigns (most of which contain video scripts) than any individual in the multiverse!
What the Heaven is PSA a Day?!
My #PSAaDay FB page is for anyone who enjoys humorous and not-so-humorous PSAs (public service announcements), intended to help make this a better world for animals, children, and those who used to be children.

“It is one of the beautiful compensations of this life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself.”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
After a near-near-death experience (yes, my life flashed before my eyes and it was supplemented with commercials!) and the subsequent birth of my son George "Georgie" Bailey (I was feeling great about becoming a first-time dad, when a friend said that they felt badly for any child now brought into this world, which scared me to no end), I wanted to see how much good I could do before I actually met the Big Guy (or Gal) in the Sky.
First, I helped over 400 people find jobs for free, and then I wanted to help many more people... And then, I began writing pro bono Public Service Announcements (PSA) campaigns.
For two-and-a-half years, I’ve been publishing daily #PSAaDay messages on Facebook -- helpful bits of info and inspiration, meant to improve your and your loved ones’ and friends’ lives, and perhaps even save lives.
Here is an example of a short #PSAaDay message:
Did you know that donating blood every 60 days is a safe way to help others? Your risk? Brief discomfort from a needle stick. #PSAaDay
I also have longer PSAs. Here is an example…
Not All Angels Have Halos

In what appears to be a genealogical family tree, ROBERT MAITLAND (late 70s) photo sits at the top of the “tree.” Intravenous tube goes from his arm to eight people of various ages and races below him. Those eight people then have an intravenous tube that goes from their arm to eight people of various ages and races below them.
Be an Angel -- Donate Blood Every 60 Days
Blood donations are critical. You never know when you may need to receive a transfusion. Everyone, no matter what blood type they have, can donate blood... If you’re in good health, you can donate blood as young as age 16 (with parental or guardian approval, if allowed by state law) and up to age 92.

I’ve also written video scripts and radio scripts that are available upon request in Final Draft or book format for each one of the 52 campaigns.
Here are some samples of video scripts….
Feel free to sign up and let your family and friends know about #PSAaDay — bonus: you’ll also help be helping to make this a better world!
